You can't live in 2D. According to the relativity theory there will be no energy since there is no mass. Furthermore, as there is no mass there is also no gravity, so everything that might be there would be scattered all over, in no contact with each other. That is the ideal modern world, with individialism as the basic rule. You can't live in 2D.
